- What The Krypt offersThe Krypt gathers haunted places, horror filming locations, events, ghost tours, horror news, trailers, independent creators, retailers and public Krypt Trails in one place. Everything is free to explore without an account.
- Choosing the right free accountThere are three free account types. Krypt Crow is a personal account. Krypt Keeper adds a public creator profile. Business Owner adds tools to claim and manage a horror business. Keeper and Business Owner both include everything a Crow gets.
- Managing notification preferencesKrypt Alerts tells you about horror near you, new Wire stories, Krypt TV releases, event reminders and Nightmare Radar matches. You choose which ones.
- Browser and device notification permissionsYour browser or phone decides whether The Krypt may show notifications. The Krypt can only ask; you grant or block it in your device settings.

- How to create your first Krypt TrailThe Trail planner builds a day-by-day itinerary of places and events you choose. The Krypt only suggests; you pick every stop.
- Around areas versus Road tripAround areas finds stops in one or more areas you choose. Road trip (A → B) finds stops along a route between a starting point and a destination.
- Adding a starting point and destinationSet where your trip begins and ends.
- Adding waypointsWaypoints are places your route must pass through.
- Finding and adding stopsFind places and events and add them to a day.
- Adding a custom stopA custom stop is your own private place on the Trail, such as a motel.
- Adding events to a TrailAdd dated events alongside places.

- Public location visibilityYour city and state are private unless you choose to show them.
- Adding a portfolio projectProjects show your work. Free Keepers can have up to 10.
- Uploading project imagesEach project can have up to 5 images on Free.
- Adding media linksLink videos, music, books or stores from a project.
- Managing availabilityTell visitors whether you're Available for hire, Open to collaborations or Accepting commissions.
- Understanding Keeper verificationVerification is reviewed by The Krypt. It's never automatic and can't be bought — Pro doesn't verify you.
- Using eligible Free Shop toolsWhere the Krypt Shop is enabled for you, you can list up to 5 Free products with up to 3 images each. Products link to your own website — checkout happens there.

- Finding your businessMost horror businesses are already listed. Find yours before claiming.
- Claiming an existing listingA claim asks The Krypt to unlock owner tools for your listing.
- Providing verification evidenceEvidence shows you represent the business.
- Understanding claim approvalThe Krypt reviews each claim. Owner tools unlock only after approval.
- Editing supported business detailsEdit your description, phone, website, hours, prices and supported links directly.
- Requesting an address or pin correctionAddress, map pin, category and access/closure changes are reviewed by The Krypt to keep the map accurate and safe.
- Uploading photosFree listings can have up to 10 photos.
- Creating offersUp to 3 active basic offers per location. Offers waiting for review count toward the 3.
- Submitting eventsSubmit standard events at your claimed location. Each one is reviewed before going live.
