Around areas versus Road trip
Around areas finds stops in one or more areas you choose. Road trip (A → B) finds stops along a route between a starting point and a destination.

Before you start
- Nothing — guests can do this without an account.
Steps
- In the planner, find Trip type.
- Choose Around areas, then use Search areas or Add another area for each place you'll explore.
- Or choose Road trip (A → B) to plan along a route.
- Choose Driving or Walking under Travel mode.
When it worked
Suggested stops match the areas or the route you set.
Troubleshooting
- Road trip suggestions follow a straight-line corridor between points, not exact roads. Travel times are estimates.
