The Krypt Code

The Krypt celebrates horror films, dark art, haunted attractions, monsters, cosplay, practical effects, independent creators, and the fans who love them.

Fictional horror, theatrical violence, monsters, and disturbing artistic expression are welcome within applicable content rules. Real-world threats, harassment, exploitation, and dangerous conduct are not.

• Treat fellow members, creators, businesses, and visitors with respect.
• Harassment, stalking, threats, hate speech, discriminatory abuse, impersonation, and targeted intimidation are prohibited.
• Any sexual exploitation or abuse involving minors, and non-consensual intimate imagery, are strictly prohibited.
• Disagreement and honest criticism are allowed. Attacking someone's safety or private life is not.

• Do not publish private addresses, personal contact information, identity documents, confidential messages, or someone else's nonpublic travel plans without appropriate authorization.
• Do not expose private or restricted locations that The Krypt intentionally displays approximately.
• Shared or unlisted links are not permission to redistribute private information.

• No trespassing, vandalism, grave disturbance, unauthorized entry, or encouragement to visit dangerous or prohibited areas.
• Respect cemeteries, residents, property owners, posted restrictions, and access hours.
• An abandoned appearance does not mean a building is open to the public.
• A listing or Trail never overrides property rules or grants permission to enter a property.

• Publish work you own or have permission to share, and credit collaborators accurately.
• Do not steal artwork, impersonate creators, falsify credits, or misrepresent collaborations. Keep hire, commission and collaboration availability truthful.
• Respect the original filmmakers, artists, writers, performers, and independent creators whose work makes horror possible.

• Business representatives must be authorized to manage their listings.
• False ownership claims, fabricated reviews, misleading offers, fake endorsements, and fraudulent event promotions are prohibited.
• Honest customer criticism and independent editorial reporting are allowed.
• Paid membership does not purchase verification, favorable treatment, or immunity from moderation.

• Publish only locations and content you may lawfully share.
• Do not expose private homes, restricted access points, confidential custom stops, or another person's private notes.
• Respect safety warnings and access limitations.
• Credit original creators when using permitted copying and customization features.
• Do not represent an itinerary as guaranteed safe or as providing tickets or admission.

• Phishing, fraudulent ticket sales, counterfeit goods, malicious links, fake offers, and deceptive promotions are prohibited.
• Disclose relevant sponsorships and commercial relationships.
• Do not repeatedly contact members who decline communication, evade blocks, or use automated tools to abuse the platform.

• The Krypt Code applies to private communications.
• Do not threaten, harass, scam, or repeatedly solicit other members.
• Respect blocking and reporting controls.

• Members may use available reporting tools or Send a Crow to report problems. Reports should be accurate and submitted in good faith.
• The Krypt may review evidence, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other appropriate actions. Threats of real-world harm or exploitation of minors may be referred to authorities.
• Not every submission is pre-screened, and immediate response times are not guaranteed.
• Members may request reconsideration of a decision using Send a Crow.

Keep the horror fictional. Keep the community respectful.
