Loading The Krypt — Find Your Next Nightmare

Browser and device notification permissions

Your browser or phone decides whether The Krypt may show notifications. The Krypt can only ask; you grant or block it in your device settings.

Who it's for

Anyone whose alerts don't arrive.

Before you start

  • A recent version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Steps

  1. Open More → Krypt Alerts and tap Turn on Krypt Alerts.
  2. When your device asks, choose Allow.
  3. On iPhone, first add The Krypt to your Home Screen (Krypt Alerts on iPhone explains how), then open it from there and turn on alerts.
  4. If you previously chose Block, change it in your browser's site settings or your phone's notification settings, then return to Krypt Alerts.

When it worked

Krypt Alerts no longer shows a blocked or unsupported message.

Troubleshooting

  • “Krypt Alerts aren't supported in this browser yet” — try Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a recent device.
  • Alerts are set per device. Turn them on separately on each phone or computer.
