Saving versus following versus copying a Trail
Save bookmarks a public Trail. Follow subscribes you as a follower. Copy & Customize makes your own private, independent copy you can edit. Only Trails you own can be edited directly.
Who it's for
Anyone using public Trails.
Before you start
- A free Krypt account, signed in.
Steps
- Tap Save to bookmark the Trail in Saved.
- Tap FOLLOW TRAIL to follow it.
- Tap Copy & Customize to open your own copy in the planner, then save it.
- Edit your own Trails from My Plans → My Trails → Edit.
When it worked
Saved, Following and your own copy each appear in their own place.
Troubleshooting
- Later updates to the original Trail never change your copy.
- Following and saving don't give you editing rights to someone else's Trail.
