Interview with the Vampire

A vampire recounts his long existence to a reporter, tracing the desires, losses and uneasy companionships that have shaped his life among the undead. Immortality offers no simple escape from grief or moral responsibility. Neil Jordan’s adaptation of Anne Rice’s novel brings sumptuous Gothic imagery to a story of predatory intimacy, loneliness and the cost of surviving across generations.
